Day 1: Hotel Pickup, Temple of Heaven, Hutong Alleys & Summer Palace

In the morning, your professional guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby, and then a comfortable and capacious chauffeur-driven minivan will transfer you to the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors worshiped the God of Heaven for good harvest in ancient times. Now it turns out to be a big park where you can see local people doing exercise and more recreational activities.

Next continue your tour to Beijing Hutong. There you will take a rickshaw to go through the old alleys and pay a visit to a Hutong family to see how the old Beijingers live. An about 30-minute drive will take you to the Summer Palace, which is reputed as the museum of ancient royal gardens. Our expert guide will show you around. Centered upon Wanshou Mountain and Kunming Lake, the Summer Palace boasts a perfect combination of natural landscape and royal garden. Day 2: Great Wall Hiking from Simatai West to Jinshanling
Stop At: Jinshanling Great Wall, Chengde Shi, Luanping County 068250 China
On the 2nd day of the Great Wall walking tour, your guide and driver will pick up you early, for the Jinshanling Great Wall you are going to hike is 130 km (81 miles) far away from Beijing downtown and it takes about 2.5-3 hours to drive there.
After arriving at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall, please follow your guide to hike along the ramparts and you will reach at the East Five-Window Tower after 40 minutes. You will have a short break there.
Then continue marching westwards to the Jinshanling Great Wall. This section still maintains the original look and reveals a beauty of desolation. As well, Jinshanling can offer you great shots with ramparts winding their way over the mountain ranges and watchtowers in various styles densely distributed along the wall.
After you get down from the wall, your guide will escort you back to the hotel.
