Great wall Mutianyu is one of the oldest parts, the mountain is 90% covered by trees, so the landscape is beautiful. It’s closer and less crowded than Great wall Badaling, so you have time to leisurely wander on the wall.
Summer Palace was rebuilt by Dowager Cixi in 1886 after burned by Anglo-French Allied Force.You will see a typical Chinese style garden inside, with plants, flowers, arch bridges and pavilions.
Forbidden city has about 600 years history, lived by 24 emperors from Ming and Qing Dynasty. It’s one of the best preserved imperial palaces in the world.
