Itinerary
Day 1: Shanghai city highlights (bullet train to Shanghai)
Stop At: Yuyuan Old Street, Houjia Road, Fangbang Middle Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200001 China
You will be picked up by our driver and take a morning train from Beijing to Shanghai (approximately 4h40min) , upon arrival, our guide will meet you at railway station.
This is the perfect tour to pack the best of Shanghai’s most famous sites: Head to Yuyuan Garden and Shanghai Old Street, you’ll see classic statues, ornaments, and flatware from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Also, the picturesque garden is expansive with many halls, springs, and other small buildings. Here you will have the chance to experience a traditional tea ceremony.

Then enter the former French Concession in Xintiandi,see the classic 1920’s Shikumen architecture,Cross over the old alley way and soak in the classic and modern atmosphere

Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China
Afterwards, a short hop will bring you to The Bund. The building lining the waterfront is collectively known as a “Gallery of World Architecture”, At night fall, the beautiful artistic lights one which produces a scene of crystal palaces with a fantastic charm.

Lastly you’ll pass Lujiazui financial area, where nearly 100 skyscrapers have been built within the past decade! Take the opportunity to travel 100 floors high to see Shanghai city’s panoramic views such as Shanghai tower, Financial tower, Jinmao tower, Pearl tower( option cost for observation deck).

Day 2: Water town experience and famous Jade buddha temple
Stop At: Jade Buddha Temple, 170 An Yuan Road, Shanghai China
Visit the most famous Jade Buddha Temple, a sacred 19th-century structure built during the Qing Dynasty and see the two elegant Jade Buddha statues. Marvel at the majestic architecture of the temple and listen as your guide explains the captivating history of the construction. Then reaching the Jade center to learn the difference between jadeite and nephrite and how the jade is closely linked with Chinese culture.

Continue this exotic journey at the outskirts of Shanghai in Zhujiajiao water village, Like many of its 60,000 inhabitants, you’ll have the option of exploring the village by foot or by canal boat (Boat ride are optional cost)), seeing some of the 36 stone bridges and ancient buildings, enjoy the the local culture as well as buy some souvenirs.
At the end of Shanghai tour, our driver and guide will accompany you to railway station to take bullet train back to Beijing.
