Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), No.19 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100080 China

With pick up from your Beijing downtown hotel at either 8:30 am or 1:30 pm, local professional tour guide will escort you to start the half-day Royal Park Exploration.

Upon arrival in the Summer Palace – the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, follow your guide to explore this luxurious royal garden built for royal families to rest and entertain, and It later became the main residence of royal members in the end of the Qing Dynasty.

Composed mainly of Longevity Hill (Wanshou Shan) and Kunming Lake, Summer Palace radiates fully the natural beauty and the grandeur of royal gardens. The guide will accompany you to visit the lakeside pavilion of Marble Boat, the richly painted Long Corridor, take a boat riding on the Kunming Lake, and give you live commentary of the royal history.

After around 2.5 hours sightseeing, return to your hotel and bid farewell to your guide to conclude the half day trip.
