What to Expect When Visiting Beijing, China, China
Explore the beauty of historic Mutianyu Great Wall tour. This tour includes a private transport and professional guide with lunch that you’ll surely enjoy.
In the morning, your guide and driver will meet you up atyour hotel (between 8:00am to 9:00am)
We will drive about 76KM for about 1.5-2 hours to get theMutianyu Great Wall from the downtown. Mutianyu section Great Wall is a less touristy section with breathtaking viewsbuilt during the 14th century by the Ming dynastythat it was built up fortified to the max for protecting China from themongols. You will drive through the old Beijing city(downtown), then the newBeijing city(outside the second Ring road) to the beautiful suburb ofBeijing(outside of the 6 Ring road).
1. Take the shuttle bus frombottom shuttle bus camp to the upper shuttle bus camp
2. Take the chairlift to No.5Watchtower (or the cable car up to No.14 Watchtower)
3. Stroll along the Great Wallfreely, explore different watch towers and take beautiful pictures from the goodspots.
4. Take the slide down from No.5Watchtower(highly recommend) (or thecable car down from No.14 Watchtower)
After exploring the Great Wall, you will have a gourmet lunch in a very good restaurant (traditional Chinese stir-fried dishes and rice) or a western restaurant near the Great Wall.
After lunch, it will us 1.5-2 hours to go back to your hotel, you will arrive the hotel around 5:00PM.
