Itinerary
Day 1: Tian’anmen Square – Forbidden City – Hutong – Houhai Lake
Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
Meet your guide in the lobby and start the tour from Tian’anmen Square which has witnessed some of the most dramatic chapters of China history. You will see the City Planning Hall first, then watch a 3D movie and walk around the exhibitions to learn more about the evolution and future planning of the city. Then enter the Square to see some of the iconic buildings in Beijing.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
Next, visit the Forbidden City, which was built in 1420 and served as the imperial residence for 24 emperors of China. Your tour also includes a visit to the Horologe Room, where some exquisitely designed clocks are on display.

Stop At: Back Lakes (Hou Hai), Shicha Lake Scenic Resort, Xicheng District, Beijing 100009 China
After lunch time, venture into the city’s Hutongs, the narrow alleyways that run through the city’s historic neighborhoods. Then, take a rickshaw and visit a local family to gain an insight into Beijing life, before taking a walk around the Houhai Lake, the most popular pub street in Beijing.

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall – Afternoon Break time – Beijing City Night Tour
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
Visit Mutianyu Great Wall in the morning, and you can choose to take the cable car both ways, or take the chairlift up and ride the toboggan down.

Stop At: Ghost Street (Gui Jie), Dongzhimennei Main Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing China
Go back to the hotel after lunch for a break, then be picked up again at 5:30pm to enjoy dinner in Huajia Yiyuan (at your own cost), a famous restaurant along the Ghost Street. It is the only street in the city that truly never sleeps.

Afterwards, walk around Sanlituan, a popular shopping and nightlife area.

Day 3: National Grand Theatre – Liulichang Street – Lama Temple – Olympic Village
Stop At: National Center for the Performing Arts, No.2 Xichang’an Street, Xicheng District, Beijing 100031 China
Visit the National Grand Theatre, an ellipsoid dome of titanium and glass surrounded by an artificial lake.
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Liulichang Street, Hepingmenwai, Xicheng District, Beijing 100051 China
Then go to Liulichang Street, which is known throughout China for its traditional Chinese handicrafts. You will see a series of Qing style buildings, as well as watching painters and calligraphers working their craft.

Stop At: Lama Temple (Yonghegong), No.12 Yonghegong Street, Beixinqiao, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100007 China
Enjoy lunch in Jindingxuan (optional), a popular Dim Sum restaurant frequented by superstars in Beijing. Then visit the Lama Temple, originally a palatial residence built in 1694 by Qing Emperor Kangxi for his fourth son, Prince Yongzheng.

Stop At: Olympic Park, North of Beisihuanzhong road, Chaoyang District, Beijing 100101 China
Continue the tour by going to the Olympic Village, and walk around to have a look at the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube (exteriors only), as well as some other iconic stadiums.
