Stop At: Gubei Water Town, Simatai villege, Gubeikou town, Beijing China
Get picked up at 1:00 pm by the guide and driver from your Beijing downtown hotel. After about 2.5 hours’ drive, arrive at Gubei —one of China’s most famous water towns. Composed of picturesque canals, bridges, courtyard houses, shops, and hotels, set mountains and the Simatai section of China’s Great Wall as the background, Gubei becomes another spotlight for visitors in Beijing. Follow your guide to walk around the quaint architecture, enjoy the sunset if weather permits. You can also try some local snacks there as dinner on your own.

Stop At: Simatai Great Wall, Gubeikou Town, Beijing 101508 China
Duly refreshed at about 6:00 pm, ride the cable car up to Simatai Great Wall: the only part of the UNESCO-listed structure that is open to visitors at night, and illuminated brightly from dusk onward. Admire the lit-up ramparts tracing the steep spine of the mountains from your cable car, and then meander along the battlements. Finally, descend by cable car and take shuttle bus back to the parking lot. At 8:00 pm, your trip ends and we transfer you back to downtown hotel.
