Your day will start with a pickup from your centrally located hotel in Beijing where you will meet the tour guide at 9:00am.

First you will drive pass by the Olympic Park and stop for photos.

Beijing Olympic Park is where the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympics took place. The two famous stadiums are -The Water Cube and The Bird’s Nest.

The Bird’s Nest was the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, when it had a capacity of 91 000 spectators.

Then heading to the Summer Palace.The Summer Palace in Beijing – first built in 1750, largely destroyed in the war of 1860 and restored on its original foundations in 1886 – is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value.The Summer Palace combined political and administrative, residential, spiritual, and recreational functions within a landscape of lakes and mountains, in accordance with the Chinese philosophy of balancing the works of man with nature.

Continue to the Beijing Botanical Garden. Covering an area of 400 hectares, it is renowned as the largest botanical garden in North China. The garden contains not only a great variety of rare trees and stunning flowers, but also houses a number of historical attractions.
