There are well-preserved houses, long painting corridor, marble boat etc. here. It is a nice experience to take a boat on the Kunming Lake to view the Longevity Hill.
Yonghegong, 雍和宫 in Chinese, or Lama Temple in English, is a Tibetan Buddhism Monastery. Located the northeast of Beijing, well-known for its colourful architecture and the 18m sandalwood Buddha, which is the largest sculpture ever carved from a single piece of wood. The temple was built in 1691, and it first served as an Emperor’s residence then converted into a monastery in 1744.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to Beijing airport to catch your next flight where the layover day tour concludes.
