This tour has two options for departure time, you can either choose the departure time at 9am in the morning or departure time at 3pm in the afternoon.
Our professional tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your Beijing hotel at downtown area, then take the private transportation to the famous Temple of Heaven, it was built in Ming Dynasty 600years ago and it was used for the ancient Chinese emperors to held the praying ceremony for a good harvest to the God in the heaven in the new year. The whole building is really amazing and it is the masterpiece of ancient Chinese building.
There is a park outside around the Temple of Heaven, it is the local biggest park for public, the locals come here to do morning excercises here every moring and after dinner. A good opportunity for you to see the locals dancing, singing Pekin opera and Taichi here. If you want to join the locals dancing, you are free to join them, the locals are very friendly.
After the visit of Temple of Heaven, Hungry now? Let’s go to a local very popular restaurant to taste the famous traditional Old Beijing hot pot,it is very yummy and you can dip all kinds of food materials in the hot pot which has burning charcoal under the pot, Beijingers love it very much, lamb and beef dip inside with some other vegetables, it is not spicy hot as Sichuan hot pot, the sauce is sesame sauce.So if you don’t eat spicy, this will be a perfect choice for you. The meal and drinks are included.
