Shanhaiguan Pass is reputed as the “First Pass under Heaven”, It was the most important pass and the first pass along the Great Wall of China with strategic importance at its east coast beginning. Shanhaiguan Pass is located 9 miles northeast of Qinhuangdao City and 190 miles from Beijing.

Laolongtou is where the Great Wall of China meets the sea and was once considered as where the Great Wall of China starts. It’s known as ‘Old Dragon’s Head’ because resembles a dragon drinking water from the sea.
