Start your day with an early morning pickup at your Beijing downtown hotel by your friendly guide and driver, then transfer to the Great Wall at Shanhaiguan Pass, which is located in Qinhuangdao Prefecture, Hebei Province, nearly 186 miles east of Beijing. It was the most important pass of the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty, protecting the widest corridor between China and its strongest rival neighbors, the Manchu, reputed as the “First Pass under Heaven”.

Stop At: Laolongtou (Old Dragon’s Head), 93 Haikou Rd, Qinhuangdao 066206 China
After enjoy a nice local lunch, continue to Laolongtou, known as the Old Dragon’s Head. It is the eastern starting point of the Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644), and is also the only section on the sea.The whole Wall is considered a huge dragon winding through China, while Laolongtou is just like the head of the dragon stretching into the Bohai Sea.
Explore here 1-2 hours accompanied by your guide. Afterwards, transfer back to Beijing downtown.
