Your driver will meet you on time with your requested vehicle at your hotel. You will take the express way to the Mutianyu Great Wall. This journey takes about 1.5-hour. Once you arrive at the Great Wall, the driver will bring you your pre-purchased ticket. You have two options of transportations on the great wall: a round trip with cable cars, or ascend with chair lifts and descend with toboggans. You have 3 hours to immense yourself in the mountains, tread on the ancient stone slabs, and explore this epitome of the magnificent Ming dynasty military defensive project. At lunch time, you are going to rest your feet and eat a satisfying meal at a local dumpling house. They offer various types of delicious dumplings; some have meat fillings, and some have vegetable fillings. Black vinegar and chili sauce add flavor to the traditional dumplings. After lunch, your driver will take you back to your hotel; it will take approximately 2 hours. You can also visit a Chinese tea ceremony if you are interested.
