Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum is a specialty museum to dissect the design of Chinese traditional buildings. We will use models to illustrate the ingenious wooden Mortise and tenon structure. Unlike those western buildings, Chinese buildings are supported by wooden pillars. That is why ultimate praise for a great building is to remain intact even if all walls fall down (especially during earthquakes). You will also learn how Fengshui is arranged to ensure positive Zen-energy in a household.
