KARST: In South China there is the largest area of karstic landscapes in the world and where the limestone eroded by water has been shaping an exceptional landscape: stony mountains, pillars like needles, steep gorges, perforations and caves-caves- caves of whimsical stalactites and stalagmites, waterfalls and underground rivers that appear and disappear.
ETHNICS: The provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi concentrate the largest number of different ethnic groups in China. Miao, Hani, Yi, Shui, Bouyi, Mulao, Gejia, Yao, Dong and Zhuang are some of those that we will see on our route. In a beautiful environment of infinite rice terraces, cornfields and sugar cane plantations, the ethnic groups, multi-colored in their clothes, maintain their traditional ways of life, their culture and their stone and wood architecture perfectly suited to the beautiful subtropical environment of the South China." />
