Cheng Du Shi Trip Overview
You get off the beaten track and get to see some of the mountains and beautiful areas not that far from Chengdu. There is generally very few people that go to the waterfall or on the hike. On weekends the hotel is a little busy, but not on weekdays. You get to see and how local farmers in the areas live and experience nature. A great escape from the city.

What to Expect When Visiting Cheng Du Shi, Si Chuan Sheng, China

Itinerary
Day 1: To Waterfalls and Mountain Top Hotel
Stop At: Shaijingshan, Dayi County, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, 611338
We leave Chengdu and drive about 2 hours to get to Dayi where we will have lunch in a local restaurant and then we will go about another 30 minutes to the trailhead. The hike is only about 30 minutes to the waterfall. People can relax and swim there and explore a bit before we head back and take the van for about 35 minutes to the hotel located on the mountain top.

• Lunch: We will get lunch in a local restaurant.
• Dinner: We will have local food at the hotel
Accommodation included: We stay at a hotel on the top of a Mountain Top with beautiful views all around. There are basic rooms and nicer ones.
Day 2: Hiking up to Longwozi trail
Stop At: Longwozi, Dayi County, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, 611342
We will get up and have breakfast at the hotel and then we drive about 40 minutes and begin a hike up the Longwozi trail. The trail is a mixture of stairs and paths that is mostly uphill and goes to some nice rivers and swimming holes and ends in a farming village after about 7 kms. We can have lunch there and then head down the mountain and back to Chengdu in the late afternoon. The hike up takes about 2 hours up and less going down.
