Cheng Du Shi Trip Overview
This is a good way to see parts of the city and the countryside in one tour. Its also safer then just biking in the city, which can have a lot of traffic. There are no motorized vehicles on the bike path and its continuous so you don’t have to stop at traffic lights or unusual intersections etc. Its about a 40-50 km bike ride and we go thru several large parks with lakes and wetlands and you can see some of the most modern buildings in Chengdu.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Chengdu, Chengdu, Sichuan
Your guide will meet you at the metro station and take you nearby to chose a mountain bike and helmet that is suitable for the guest. We will then head south of Chengdu about a half hour until we reach the greenway.
The greenway is a paved path that runs just outside the city and goes all around Chengdu. The entire route is about 100 kms so we will just do a quarter of path in the south east side of the city. We can return the same way we went or cut thru the city and see some highlights along the way, but that route is a little longer.
The route is flexible. We can go as far as people would like. But it would generally take 4 hours.

The New Century Global Center is the largest building in the world in terms of floor space. It is a unique looking building you can see for many kms if you are in south Chengdu.

Pass By: Jincheng Park, Wuhou District, Chengdu, China
Jin Cheng park covers a large area and has a big lake with views of the New Century Global center and other modern buildings in the south, which is the high tech zone of Chengdu.

We pass thru Bai Lu Wan Wetlands park which has a lakes, a lotus pool and nice views of hills in East Chengdu.

This large park in east Chengdu has the Qinglong Lake Wetland inside. It is a historical and cultural scenic area that mainly displays the Shu culture of the Ming Dynasty. It is the largest wetland park in the downtown area of Chengdu and is the last park we go to before returning.
