Itinerary
Day 1: Chengdu–Panda Base, Broad and Narrow Alleys,Jinsha Site Museum. O/N Chengdu.
Stop At: Chengdu, Chengdu, Sichuan
In the morning, our guide can meet you at the Chengdu hotel at 08:00am then transfer to thePanda base, need 30 minutes driving, 15km.

Stop At: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi), No.1375 Xiongmao Avenue the Outside Northern Third Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu 610081 China
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which is located in a large forest complex with magnificent scenery. There are many different enclosures depending on the ages of pandas (babies, teenagers, adults), where getting up close to these amazing animals is very easy and you will get many opportunities for fantastic photos when they are munching on bamboos, playing with each other or some even climbing to the tree top. They are more active in the morning till about 10:00. After that some of them will go to sleep. Two to three hours visiting in the research base is needed to see those pretty cute and cuddly pandas.

Then let’s turn to the Broad and Narrow Alleys, an ancient street lined with many old houses and some newly-built with traditional style. It is really fun to stroll along the street with nice atmosphere and find many interesting shops and nice restaurants. You may have your own lunch here, or you can ask for your guide’s advice. No matter what you want, local speciality or western-style lunch, he/she will give you good suggestions.

After that, we will transfer you to visit Jinsha Site Museum. It is a huge site museum combining history and archeology. There are total five exhibition halls displaying the culture of ancient Shu Kingdom during the Shang and Zhou periods (17th century BC – 256 BC). The featured artifacts are the Golden Sun Bird, which is also the city of Chengdu’s logo, and the Golden Mask.

Day 2: Chengdu – Leshan Giant Buddha – Chengdu. The tour end.

In the morning, our guide will meet you at 9am and transfer to Leshan Giant buddha, need 2.5hrs driving, 145km.

Stop At: Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo), No.2435 Lingyun Street, Shizhong District, Leshan 614000 China
The highlight today is to see the 71-meter high Giant Buddha, which is the largest carving in the world. It was built during the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907 AD) and had taken three generations of carvers to complete from the year of 713 to 803 AD. As the Buddha is carved on a cliff facing by the river bed, we will arrange you to take boat to get the best view of this amazing statue.
