Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Panda Valley, Baima Village Yutang Town, Dujiangyan China
This tour includes the private transportation to/from Chengdu and informative English speaking guide who will show you around Dujiangyan panda base.
Travelers can opt to participate panda volunteer program to work as panda keeper for a day, see pandas behind the stage.
Dujiangyan Panda Volunteer & Feeding program
• 7:10-8:30
-Hotel pick-up
-Transfer to Dujiangyan Panda Base(Entrance fee is included)
• 8:30-9:00
-Arrive Dujiangyan panda base at the opening time.
-Check in panda volunteer before other tourists arrive.
-Put on working outfit, sign the volunteer paper, get ready for work!
• 9:00-10:00
-Clean the indoor and outdoor enclosure
-Smash the bamboo for panda
-Shovel the panda pupu 🙂
(Please follow the staff instruction during volunteer)
• 10:30-11:30
-Feed the panda face to face
-Each participants will feed panda the carrot or panda cake , enjoy this special and intimate moment with the panda.
-After panda feeding, free time on your own to explore the facility before lunch.
(Dujiangyan panda base is much less touristy and crowded compare with Chengdu panda base.)
• 11:30-12:30
– Buffet lunch at the staff canteen (Lunch is included)
-Vegetable，meat，soup, rice and fruit are available
• 12:30-14:00
-Watch the special edition of panda documentary to know more about pandas.
-After the documentary,free time on your own before afternoon work.
14:00-14:30
-Clean the enclosure and refill the bamboo
14:30-15:30
-Feed the panda AGAIN:)
-Make the panda cake which contains corn, egg,vitamine to ensure the health of panda
-Receive the volunteer certificate and souvenirs from panda base
-THANK YOU FOR THE HARD WORK &DONATION
15:30-17:00
-Say good bye to pandas, return Chengdu.
-Drop off can be arranged either at the hotel or the attraction within the downtown area.

1.There are limited quota for panda volunteer daily
2.Donation of panda volunteer(700rmb/person) please pay cash upon arrival.
