Stop At: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi), No.1375 Xiongmao Avenue the Outside Northern Third Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu 610081 China

This morning (about 07:00-08:00, the exact pickup time will be informed by tout guide in advance) you will be picked up from your hotel in downtown Chengdu (within the 2nd ring road), and be driven to suburb to visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. You will visit the rooms of adult pandas, sub-adult pandas and baby pandas, you can see they are eating bamboos and playing around.

Stop At: Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo), No.2435 Lingyun Street, Shizhong District, Leshan 614000 China

In the afternoon you will be driven to Leshan city (about 2 hours driving) to visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, which is the largest cliff carving statue in China, with a height of 71 meters. Facing a river, the Buddha has three-meter-long fingers. The eight-meter-long instep is big enough for one hundred people to sit on and the 28-meter-wide shoulder is large enough to be a basketball playground. You will visit from the head of the gigantic Buddha to his enormous toes (alternatively, you will take boat to visit the Giant Buddha on the river in front of the Buddha).

After the tour you will be driven back to downtown Chengdu and be dropped off at Tianfu Square, from where you can go back to your hotel on your own.
(Please note: this might be a mix group includes both 1-Day and 2-Day tour, if some travelers will continue to travel to Mt. Emei after visiting Leshan Giant Buddha, the tour guide will not company the 1-Day tour clients back to Chengdu)
