Stop At: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi), No.1375 Xiongmao Avenue the Outside Northern Third Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu 610081 China
At 08:00am, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Chengdu. Then you will head for Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding(also known as Chengdu Panda Base) located about 12km north of the city center. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to get there.
Found in 1987 with 6 rescued pandas got from the wild, Chengdu Panda Base is now home to 190 (by the end of 2018) giant pandas. You will walk around to the different enclosures and nursery houses, and learn more details about giant pandas’ behaviors, diet, breeding, etc.You will see cubs and adult pandas. What’s more you will also see red pandas there. Between mid-June to early October, you will also have the opportunity to see the newly-born panda cubs.

After lunch, you will leave for the Sanxingdui Museum, which is an important archaeological discovery and have changed people’s understanding of ancient history and culture of Sichuan province.
Sanxingdui Museum was built on the northeast of Sanxingdui Site, which was the place where large quantities of jade, bronze and gold wares, as well as elephant tusks, were discovered. As an archaeological museum with excellent modern facilities, it is also a gateway to a mysterious civilization that flourished some 5, 000 years ago.
After visiting, drive back to Chengdu. Your guide and driver will send you back to your hotel.
