Your knowledgeable local English-speaking tour guide and private car driver will come and pick you up at Guangzhou airport (Gate 53 of Terminal 2, the exit for international flight travellers) or your layover hotel(offered by China Southern Airline), holding a sign with your name written on it. You can choose to store your luggage at the airport(or layover hotel) or put your luggage in our car/van to start the tour. Message your guide if it takes too long for queuing at the Free Visa application counter before you meet.

Have a stroll in a nice park with beautiful landscape in the old part of the city, to see some important sites including the old landmark of Guangzhou-the Five-Ram Statue and cultural heritages and historical relics like the 600 years old city wall of Ming Dynasty, the five stories ancient building Zhenhai Tower(now serves as Guangzhou museum), Sun Yat-sen Monument (commemorating the father of Democratic China), Yuexiu Hill Football Stadium(the lucky place of home field to one of the two Guangzhou football teams)

The authentic and original tomb site and mausoleum of the 2nd King of Nanyue Kingdom in Han Dynasty over 2000 years ago.

It has been discovered and unearthed in 1983 and being built into a museum open to the public for visiting.

You can step into the shabby ancient tomb site through narrow tunnels to see the tomb structure and remains, and afterward to visit the museum above which displays numerous antiques dug up from the site, like ancient armors, musical instruments, jades, mummies and so on. Your guide will brief you about relevant history and culture around that era for this Nanyue Kingdom occupying Guangdong and most of Guangxi territory, the southern part of China.

A 1000 meters long local pedestrian shopping street in the old downtown of Guangzhou with “Qilou” Cantonese style architecture, various stores and shops selling shoes, clothes, fruit, toys, local food, jewellery and so on with many Chinese element decorations.

Vehicles are forbidden in this street area for an ideal and leisure walking experience for local pedestrians. Reasonable price and local people like to do shopping here, not touristy place.

Colonial area in Guangzhou by British and French in the 19th century after the First Opium War in Qing Dynasty, an artificial island next to Pearl River with many western style architectures used to serve for diverse purpose over 100 years ago like consulates, banks, hospital, church, police station and so on.

See the skyscrapers and modern buildings and linger around the Flower City Square in the new downtown to view Canton Tower, Asian Games Park, Guangdong Provincial Museum, IFC and Guangzhou Opera House.

Have a walk into the Guangzhou Library to see and learn about its stunning advanced technology like the “Book Shower” machine and book circulation system equipment.

If you choose the glass bridge tour option, we will not visit downtown area of Guangzhou but head straight for Gulong Gorge to experience the famous world record skywalk glass bridge along with multi-level big waterfall in the mountain. It’s around 1.5 hour’s driving from Guangzhou airport.

If you choose the glass bridge plus cave tour option, after picking up at Guangzhou airport or layover hotel, we will go visit Gulong Gorge for its marvellous skywalk glass bridge and multi-level waterfalls, have lunch at a local restaurant for Cantonese cuisine, and in the afternoon to visit the natural underground river cave which is 3km long for boat ride and walking to explore.
