What to Expect When Visiting Guilin, Guangxi, China

By taking a leisurely cruise down to Yangshuo, you will experience the breathtaking scenery along the way. And the awe-inspiring Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces will never let you down.
Itinerary
Day 1: Li River Cruise
Stop At: Li River, East of Guangxi Zhuang China
Your guide will greet you at your hotel in the morning and take you to Zhujiang dock to board a fancy ship for a four hours cruise on the Li River. You will enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the cruise. And your tour guide will be with you on the boat. A lunch box will be provided on the cruise. Since its quality may not meet your expectation, it is better to have a big breakfast in your hotel.
After lunch, the cruise will arrive at Yangshuo at around 14:00. Wander around the bustling West Street. You will also have a chance to explore the local villages to enjoy the rural beauty of Yangshuo before getting back to your hotel in Guilin. Overnight accommodation is not included in this tour.

Day 2: Longji Terrace Fields
Stop At: Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces, 80 kilometers from Guilin, Longsheng County 541701 China
Today you will escape the city to Longsheng. In the morning, your guide and driver will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and then drive north out of the city for about 100 kilometers to reach Longsheng. Explore the magnificent Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces (Longji Terrace Fields), which is the most famous and amazing terrace in China and enjoys a history of about 650 years. Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain, you will climb many steps to the best observation point on the hillside to have a better view of the fields.
For lunch today, you need to arrange it on your own. Your guide will help you find a proper restaurant upon your request. In the afternoon, your guide will show you around the local Zhuang village to have a glimpse of the local people’s traditional way of life.
At the end of the trip, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin.
