What to Expect When Visiting Guilin, Guangxi, China
This 4 days Guilin tour starts by visiting the amazing longji(the backbone of Dragon) rice terrace, and then allow you to see the one of China’s most beautiful and distinctive landscapes when you embark on a cruise along the Li River. Itinerary
Day 1: Guilin Arrival
Stop At: Guilin, Guilin, Guangxi
Welcome to Guilin, the beautiful and poetic city of China! You will be met by our local tour guide at the arrival hall of Guilin Liangjiang Airport and escorted to your downtown hotel by a private comfortable vehicle. The rest of the day is your own to relax. If you want to explore nearby areas, feel free to get some practical suggestions from your tour guide.

Day 2: Longji Rice Terrace – PingAn Zhuang Minority Village
Stop At: Longji Mountain, Ping’an Village, Heping Country, Longsheng County 541701 China
After the breakfast, you will be met by your guide and driver and transfer to Longsheng Rice Terraces,about 2.5 hours drive through the picturesque rural scenery which surrounds Guilin, then we start the visit at Ping’an Village, home to the Zhuang Minority, who still remain their traditional dress and traditional wooden structures dwelling. You will have time to look around the small village of Ping’an and then take the easy walk up to two viewpoints; the first called Nine Dragons and Five Tigers and the second which is called Seven Stars with Moon. From these two vantage points you have a spectacular view of the village and surrounding terraces. From the top of the mountain, visitors can see the backbone snaking away into the distance. Walk from Ping’an Village up to the first viewpoint and across the hills to the second viewpoint, then come back to Ping’an village, it takes about 2-3 hours depending on your fitness.
After the tour, drive back to Guilin and have a good rest !

Day 3: Cruise on Li River towards Yangshuo – Yangshuo Countryside view – West Street
Stop At: Guilin, Guilin, Guangxi
As the declaration in Chinese textbook” Guilin’s landscape is the best under heaven”, today you will explore this best landscape starting with a relaxing sightseeing cruise along the Li River from Mopanshan Pier to Yangshuo Town. Along the 84-kilometer cruise, dazzling scenery will overwhelm your eyes like a vast endless Chinese painting of winding river, green limestone karst mountains, fascinating countryside views.
After about 4 hours’ cruise, disembark in Yangshuo Town, and check in your hotel. Take a short break, immerse yourself into the stunning countryside views and relaxed atmosphere and be enthralled by the patches of paddy fields nestling under green hills and near the mirror-like river, with farmers cultivating the soil with their water buffalos.
This evening is for you to walk leisurely on the ancient West Street to experience how the western culture and Chinese culture perfectly and peacefully coexist here.

Day 4: Elephant Trunk Hill – Reed Flute Cave – Guilin Departure
Stop At: Guilin, Guilin, Guangxi
After breakfast, transfer back to Guilin in a comfortable vehicle (1.5~2hrs). Then make a visit to the symbol of Guilin landscape – Elephant Trunk Hill. A giant rock hill vividly shapes like an elephant which is drinking water. Besides, there are many historical sites here for you to explore, such as stone carving, Buddhist temple, relic exhibition, etc.
Then, drive about 7 kilometers to next attraction – Reed Flute Cave, a majestic underground palace with sparkling different colors. The magical Mother Nature condenses million years of natural efforts to form the incredible stalactite, stalagmite, stone shield and stone waterfall of different sizes and shapes.
Lastly, your tour guide will take you to airport to catch your flight or train to your next destination. Service ends!
