What to Expect When Visiting Guilin, Guangxi, China

Itinerary
Day 1: Guilin
Stop At: Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan), 0773-2695075, Guilin 541001 China
Upon arrival in Guilin, you will be met and transferred to visit the Reed Flute Cave, which is known as “the Palace of Natural Arts”, you can see beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, learn how they are formed.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbishan), Within Xiangbishan Park, Xiangshan District, Guilin 541004 China
Then continue to visit Elephant Trunk Hill. Located at the conjunction of the Li River and the Peach Blosom River, the whole hill looks very much like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guilin city.

Day 2: Guilin – Longsheng – Guilin
Stop At: Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces, 80 kilometers from Guilin, Longsheng County 541701 China
You will be driven to Longsheng to visit the Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces. Also known as the Longji Rice Terraces, it is located in Longsheng County, the mountainous region on the northeastern part of Guilin. They were first built in the Yuan dynasty (about 800 years ago) and completed in the Qing dynasty by Zhuang people.
After the tour you will be driven back to downtown Guilin.

Day 3: Guilin – Yangshuo
Stop At: Li River, East of Guangxi Zhuang China
In the morning you will be driven to the pier for a Li River cruise to Yangshuo, lunch will be served on board. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank.
Duration: 5 hours
Stop At: West Street, East Side of Li River, Yangshuo County 541900 China
Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo. You will visit the West Street. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, West Street has become, since the 1980’s, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest ‘foreign language center’ in China.
Then you will have a leisure tour to the Yangshuo local village. Stay overnight in Yangshuo.
