Itinerary
Day 1: Huangshan.O/N Mount Huangshan.
Stop At: Mt. Huangshan, Huangshan China
In the morning, you will journey to the foot of Huangshan Mountain and take a cable car to climb its front mountain. You could admire the magnificent scenery on the cable car.
Mt. Huangshan (Yellow Mountain), a World Heritage Site of UNESCO, is the most beautiful & loveliest mountain in China. It is known for its “Four Wonders” – beautifully-shaped pines trees, fantastic rock peaks, sea of clouds and hot springs. Each vista is different and unique. Different season, different weather, different location, different angle, Yellow Mountain shows you different sceneries, just like watching ancient Chinese scroll paintings come to life! It is a wise choice to spend a night at the top for spectacular sunsets and sunrises.

On arrival, you will firstly enjoy the scenery of Beginning-to-Believe Peak, renowned for the grotesque rocks and pines. As its name suggests, you will really begin to believe that the scenery of the mountain is captivating. The shaped rocks hanging on the steep cliffs and the deep valleys create a charming natural painting.
After that, proceed to the Peach Blossom Peak, where boasts numerous peach trees. When the peach trees blossom every March or April, the peak will be an ocean of peach flowers, making it a wonderland under heaven.
Your next stop is the Lion Peak, situated to the west of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak. The rock at the peak is exposed like a powerful lion crouching on the mountain, hence the name.
Then, you will continue the trip to the Flying Stone. It is actually a 39-feet-high, 8-meter-long, and about 360-ton piece of rock balanced on a tiny flat ledge. The space between the two large pieces of rock is very small and the erecting rock is just like flying over from the heaven, hence its name Flying Stone. It is a typical Huangshan Mountain’s incomparable natural beauty.

The last site you will explore today is the Bright Summit, one of the highest peaks of the mountain. Standing on it, you could appreciate the wonderful scenery of the East Sea Scenic Area, the mountain peaks in West Sea Scenic Area and the surrounding peculiar rocks.

Day 2: Mount Huangshan–Shanghai by Train. O/N Shanghai.
Stop At: Xihai Great Canyon, Inside the Mount Huang Scenic Area, Huangshan District, Huangshan 245700 China
The morning sightseeing will cover the Cloud Dispersing Pavilion and Xihai Grand Canyon. The Cloud Dispersing Pavilion is a sightseeing pavilion and one of the best sites to appreciate the charming scenery of the mountain. Standing in the pavilion, you could look up to the innumerable towering peaks of the West Sea and have a bird’s view of the deep and wide Xihai Grand Canyon. Xihai Grand Canyon, the most beautiful and deep scenic area of Huangshan Mountain, is a 9-mile-long U-shaped canyon. Besides the sea of cloud, it is also noted for abundant grotesque peaks and varied stones. After lunch, you will return to the foot of the mountain by cable car.

After lunch,we(driver + guide) drive you to Shanghai Hongqiao railway station where a train to Huangshan city is waiting for you(G7312 16:25–19:05). The train takes around 3 hours.

Upon arrival at Shanghai, you will be picked up on time and transferred to the Shanghai hotel(driver only, no guide).

Day 3: Shanghai. O/N Shanghai.

Our guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 09:00 in the morning. You will be escorted to the well-known Urban Planning Exhibition Hall in around 20 minutes ride.

At Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, you can view many textual and graphic files and architectural models, which will help you get an overall understanding of the development of Shanghai.
The Urban Planning Exhibition Hall showcases the urbanization and modernization of Shanghai. You will know more about Shanghai’s past and present by viewing the miniatures of the city, and rich materials about the city planning. Also, the high-tech methods are widely adopted to forecast the blueprint of Shanghai through 2020.

Then, have a relaxing time rambling in the beautiful Yu Garden.Located in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the most famous ancient site in this city for its ingenious layout and delicate architecture. The treasure of the garden, Yu Ling Long (an exquisite jade stone), an artificial hill, is considered as one of the three most well-known peaks in Southern China.

Next, visit the Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, is outside the Yu Garden, in the heart of Old Shanghai City, and close to the Old City God Temple. There are many traditional Chinese buildings, which nowadays are used as commercial stores to sell local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques and so on.

Stop At: Shanghai World Financial Center, Building 1, No.100 Century Ave, Pudong New Area, Shanghai China
Afterwards, go to the Shanghai World Financial Center and go up to the 100th floor for the panoramic views of the city. It is the world’s 8th tallest building, and the 4th tallest structure in Mainland China. The 100th floor has a viewing gallery that is 55 meters long. It is the second highest observation deck in China. It is higher than the viewing platforms on the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).

Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China
After that you will come to the Bund area which is the quintessential of Shanghai area. Located on the bank of Huangpu River, travelers come to the Bund not only for the charming riverside scenery, but the unique western and gothic architectures also deserve a look. We will set aside some free time for you to stroll around the Bund and take some photos.

Finally, we will drive you back to your hotel, or you may enjoy your own time at Nanjing Road that is very close by.

Day 4: Shanghai. The tour end.

Our guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 09:00 in the morning. You will be escorted to the well-known Zhujiajiao water town in around 60 minutes ride.

The Zhu Jia Jiao water town, is well-known throughout the country, with a history of more than 1,700 years. Covering an area of 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), the little fan-shaped town, being regarded as Shanghai’s Venice, glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains.
The three places in the water town deserve your visit: Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office and Fangsheng Bridge. Your tour guide will accompany you to visit these.
Kezhi Garden was built in 1912 and contains various pavilions and buildings, lotus pond, stele corridors, bridge of nine turnings and different kinds of plants. You can see the calligraphy inscription of the literati in Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644 AD) with high value of art in the stele corridor.
In Qing Dynasty Post Office, you can see the precious old postcard and letters in Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1911 AD) and there is a post box with a carved dragon on it which is still in use today.
Fangsheng Bridge, built in Ming Dynasty, is the largest and longest stone arch bridge in Shanghai with five arches.
You will take a local featured wooden boat from Kezhi Garden and go ashore at North Street. The left time is for you to have a free visit to wander around the ancient streets.
You will have an opportunity to get in close touch with the local people and their life.

Stop At: Jade Buddha Temple, 170 An Yuan Road, Shanghai China
After the lunch,we will take you to the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882 for the two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, the Jade Buddha Temple is a famous Buddhist shrine and an active Zen monastery. The temple plays an important role in disseminating Buddhism through cultural means, including lectures and library service, Buddhist academic publishes as well as regular Buddhist cultural activities.
