What to Expect When Visiting Kunming, Yunnan, China
Enjoy this 2 day door-to-door service in a comfortable private vehicle operated by a courteous friendly driver from your Kunming city hotel to Yuyang Rice Terrace. You will have the maximum freedom to enjoy the attraction at your own pace. Your driver will take you to the main sites, such as Qingkou Village, Bada Rice Terraces, Laohuzui, Duoyishu Villag etc. After your 2 day self-guided tour finished, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel or accommodation in Kunming, you also can choose to have an English speaking tour guide who will accompany you at the attraction when make booking. Please book your own hotel in Yuanyang.
Your driver will hold your name sign waiting for you in the lobby of your Kunming Hotel or accommodation at prearranged time, after meet, heading directly to Yuanyang, it takes 5.5 hours. Sit back and enjoy the sceneries along the way.
Once arrived, your driver will take you to your hotel to check in (booked by yourself), then you can choose to visit Bada Rice Terraces–the biggest rice terraces in Yuanyang area. Or Qingkou Village, a typical Hani minority hamlet with ‘mushroom houses. In the evening, You can choose to go Laohuzui-Tiger Mouth and see the sunset.
Next day, start early if you want to enjoy the sunrise at Duoyishu Village. Then visit Sheng Village which is an important trade center where the locals from the villages come to trade wares. You can choose to visit Jianshui (3.5 hour, 130 km). On the way to stop over at Tuanshan Village. You also can spend more time at Yuanyang Rice Terrace for more photos.
After your self guided tour of Yuanyang Rice Terrace finished, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Kunming. Of course you can choose to have an English Speaking guide option, your guide will explore the villages with you, show you the best location for photos and explain the histories and stories along the way.

1:You will have a Chinese speaking driver, but they know exactly where to pick you up and where to drop you off. Guest can use their phone to call the tour operator if need during the ride.
