The whole park is a huge natural treasure gallery, upon arrival, follow your tour guide to use your imagination to discover the park, your tour guide will tell many legendary stories along the way, and show you the best location for photos. You will spend 2-3 hours to visit the Big Stone Forest Area and the Small Stone Forest Area.
After a short ride, you will arrive at Naigu Stone Forest. The 30-square-kilometer Naigu scenic area is known as a natural museum of karst landforms. The word naigu means “ancient and black” in the language of the Yi ethnic group, a fitting description of the mass of blackish limestone that formed about 270 million years ago. Compared with the Yunnan Stone Forest Park and its sword-shaped stones, the Naigu Stone Forest has much sturdier stone columns that appear as shapes ranging from animals and figures to towers and blockhouses.
