Meet up with your private guide at your hotel in the morning, your guide and driver will escort you to start the Luoyang highlights day trip. Your first stop will be the Longmen Grottoes. The grottoes were started around the year 493 when Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty moved the capital to Luoyang and were continuously built for 400 years until the Northern Song Dynasty. In November 2000, it was listed as World Culture Heritage by UNESCO. There are 2345 grottoes, 2800 tablets, 70 pagodas and over 100000 statues carved. Fengxian Temple is the essence of Longmen as it’s the largest open-air niche here.Follow your guide to explore this famous historical heritage.

After Lunch,then move on to explore White Horse Temple – honoured as the Cradle of Buddhism in China. Here you will find the history of how Buddhism appeared in China at the first time. Wander around the temple to enjoy the antique architecture which has remained intact for over 1,900 years, and learn the Buddhism history and culture from your guide.
Afterwards, your guide will drop you off at Luoyang downtown hotel or Railway Station to conclude the trip.
