Senado Square (Largo do Senado) is located in the central area of Macau Peninsula, in Macau Special Administrative Region, China. This square covers an area of 3,700 square meters. As one of the top four squares in Macau, it was listed into the World Heritage Sites as part of Historic Centre of Macao. Now it is enclosed by the buildings of the Leal Senado, the General Post Office, and St. Dominic’s Church. The square is paved in the traditional Portuguese pavement. Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre (Chinese: Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre; Portuguese: Centro de Convenções e Entretenimento da Torre de Macau), also known as Macau Tower (Chinese: Macau Tower; Jyutping: ou3 mun4 * 2 taap3; Portuguese: Torre de Macau), is a tower located in Sé, Macau. The tower measures 338 m (1,109 ft) in height from ground level to the highest point. Its observation deck features views, restaurants, theaters, shopping malls and the Skywalk X, a walking tour around the outer rim. It offers the best view of Macau and in recent years has been used for a variety of adventurous activities. At 233 metres, the Macau Tower’s tethered “skyjump” and Bungee jump by AJ Hackett [1] from the tower’s outer rim, is the highest commercial skyjump in the world (233 metres), and the second highest commercial decelerator descent facility in the world, after Vegas’ Stratosphere skyjump at 252 metres. [2] The tower was created by the architecture firm of Moller Architects.
