What to Expect When Visiting Shanghai, Shanghai Region, China
This private tour will take you to the most popular sites in Shanghai and Suzhou. You will see the comprehensive Shanghai Museum, the symbolic Bund, the ancient Yuyuan Garden, the picturesque Humble Administrator’s Garden and Garden of the Masters of the Nets. Itinerary
Day 1: Shanghai Museum, Bund, Yuyuan Garden, Yuyuan Market, and World Financial Center
Stop At: Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan), No.201 Renmin Avenue, Shanghai China
In the morning at around 09:00, your guide and driver will meet you at the lobby of your hotel, and then take you to visit Shanghai Museum which has eleven galleries and three exhibition halls that possess a rich collection on Chinese painting, calligraphy, ceramics, bronze, and minority costumes. You may spend two hours here.

Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China
Later, you will have leisure time in the Bund area to view various buildings in different architectural styles. There are many photo opportunities here and you will have some free time to enjoy it on your own.
Lunch is not included today. You may ask your guide for some good recommendations and find a nice restaurant nearby.

Stop At: Yu Garden (Yuyuan), No.218 Anren Street, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200010 China
In the afternoon, you will visit Yuyuan Garden, an elegant private garden of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD). The symbol of the Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion. After that, you will have some free time to go through the Yuyuan Market for some souvenirs.

Stop At: Shanghai World Financial Center, Building 1, No.100 Century Ave, Pudong New Area, Shanghai China
At the end of the day, you will visit the World Financial Center to have a bird-eye view of the whole city. It is a uniquely designed skyscraper that looks like a bottle opener. Its observation deck offers fabulous views of Shanghai, Pudong, and the Bund.

Day 2: Shanghai to Suzhou by High-speed Train,
Stop At: Gusu District, Suzhou, China, 215003
Suzhou, a typical city with all elements you are expecting from a city in southern China. It is elegant, classical, exquisite, leisure, and tranquil. Today, you will have a day trip to this beautiful city by high-speed train from Shanghai. The round-way train tickets will be handed over to you in advance. Take a morning train to Suzhou by yourself. Upon your arrival, your guide in Suzhou will pick you up at the exit of the train station.

After a warm greeting, your guide will take you to one of the best classical gardens, Humble Administrator’s Garden, which is a classical garden full of graceful scenes.

Stop At: Suzhou Center, San Xiang Lu, Gu Su Qu, Su Zhou Shi, Jiang Su Sheng, China, 215025
Then, you will go sightseeing in the Suzhou old town. Sitting on the tricycle, you can have a nice glimpse of the ancient constructions existing over the years within the old block. Today’s lunch is not included in the price, but the tour guide can recommend several local restaurants according to your palate if needed.

Stop At: Tongli Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou 215217 China
After that, you will be guided to the Tongli Ancient Town to continue this one-day Suzhou private tour. Due to the long history and thoughtful preservation, Tongli is a wonderful place where people can appreciate the glamour and charm of the water town along the Yangtze River in China.
