What to Expect When Visiting Tianjin, Tianjin, China

Itinerary
Day 1: Tianjin Port – Temple of Heaven – Forbidden City ( L )
Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
Pick up at the exit of the Tianjin port by your private driver with car/van. Then drive for about two to three hours to the Beijing. After lunch, first you’ll visit the Temple of Heaven, which was the place for past emperors to worship the God of Heaven. It’s interesting to see many Chinese elders dance, sing songs, or play Tai Ji in the square.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
Afterwards, visit the Forbidden City, the biggest and best preserved imperial palace in the world also known as the “Forbidden City”, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history. The palace was built between 1406 and 1420, but was burnt down, rebuilt, sacked and renovated countless times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates from the 1700’s and onwards.
After your first day tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Beijing, and your guide will assist you to check in to the hotel.

Day 2: Summer Palace – Mutianyu Great Wall -Tianjin Port ( L )
Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), No.19 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100080 China
Your tour guide will come to pick you up from your Beijing hotel. Then drive to visit imperial garden Summer Palace, There are 3,000 rooms in The Summer Palace, and you will see pavilions, bridges, corridors, and temples there.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
Then, you will visit one of the seven great wonders, the Mutianyu Great Wall. The Wall is located in Huairou District, and its area is less crowed than other sections. It’s famous for beautiful surroundings. As one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall, it used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. You will spend 2 hours to hike around it.
After the tour, you will be transferred to Beijing International airport (PEK),or back to Tianjin Port after an entire day tour. Please ensure you choose the right tour option upon booking.
