You will be picked up from your Urumqi hotel or accommodation at your preferred time then transfer to the Tianchi Lake (Heavenly Lake) which is about 110km away from Urumqi. It will take about two hours.
The 2-hour ride towards the Heavenly Lake is itself a fabulous sightseeing trip through Mt. Tianshan.You will passes a giant wind-farm, different rivers, and mountain pastures.Sit back and enjoy the sceneries along the way.
Once arriving at the Heavenly Lake,your driver will show you where to purchase your tickets, and where he will be waiting for you, then you will enjoy your own time to explore the natural beauty of the Heavenly lake.
Tianchi, Heavenly Lake in English, is a high-mountain lake located in the central part of Tianshan Mountains, which was inscribed on the list of World Heritage by UNESCO in 2013.Some snowy peaks stand towering around the lake, with their white and silvery reflections in the water, the Heavenly Lake looks splendid. Water of the lake always keep sky blue and the deepest point of the lake is 102 meters under the water.In summer(June-Sep), a boat ride on the lake make the trip an unique experience, you can choose the option with the boat cruise. In Winter, the Heavenly Lake is also an idea high- mountain skating place, the winter here lasts as long as 7 months. The surface of the lake will frozen to 80 centimeters thick.
After your fun time at the Heavenly Lake, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Urumqi.
