What to Expect When Visiting Xiamen, Fujian, China

Itinerary
Day 1: Xiamen
Pass By: Xiamen, Xiamen, Fujian
Arrive in Xiamen, you will be met by your friendly private guide at Xiamen Airport, then you will be escorted to hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Xiamen
Stop At: Gulangyu Island, Siming District, Xiamen 361002 China
You will be met by your private guide at your hotel lobby in the morning. Today you will first visit Hulishan Fortress. Then take a ferry to Gulangyu Island, to visit the following sites: Crag of Sunlight, Shuzhuang garden with Electric Vehicle. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3: Xiamen-Quanzhou
Stop At: Kaiyuan Monastery, 27 Xi Jie, Quanzhou China
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning, and be driven to Quanzhou, to visit this ancient city of China. During the Tang and Yuan dynasties, Citong Port (Quanzhou) was one of the largest international seaports, and acknowledged as the origin of “Ocean Silk Road”. It was award as the fame “No.1 Port of Orient”. You will visit the Kaiyuan Monastery, with more than one thousand years history and with two stone towers–East & West Tower built in Song Dynasty.

Stop At: Luoyang Bridge, Luoyang Town, Quanzhou 362121 China
Go ahead to visit Quanzhou Ocean Transportation History Museum. Then make a visit to Luoyang Bridge, one of the Chinese oldest sea-crossing & girder-type stone bridges. Stay overnight in Quanzhou.

Day 4: Quanzhou-Xiamen
Stop At: Chongwu Ancient Town, Chongwu Town, Hui’an County 362131 China
After your breakfast and check out in the morning, you will make a visit to Chongwu Ancient Town in Quanzhou, which is an ancient stone town well-preserved till today. Then you will be transferred back to Xiamen for your onward flight or train departure.
