Day 1: Bullet train to Xi’an from Chengdu
Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi’an 710600 China
Your exploration of the Terracotta Army site begins. Please follow your guide to discover the amazing terracotta warriors that were buried for more than 2,000 years and to hear interesting stories about China’s first emperor — Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259–210 BC). Being the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Terracotta Army is no doubt a must-see for every visitor to Xi’an.

Muslim Street or The Muslim Quarter, is a paved road with blue-gray flagstones and shaded by trees, along which the archaized stores of the Ming (1368-1644) and the Qing (1644-1911) dynasties are in line, and they’re all operated by the Hui ethnic people.
Make yourself at a tables in local restaurants,with an experienced private guide for an authentic experience of local Chinese cuisine and the rich culture of old Xi’an.

Day 2: Bullet train continue to LuoYang Longmen Grottoes
Stop At: Longmen Grottoes, Banks of Yihe River, Luolong District, Luoyang 471000 China
Carrying over 1500 years of history, Longmen Grottoes is the carving masterpiece, which went through over 400 years to complete, tracing back to AD 493 of Northern Wei dynasty. Now as the famous tourist site, it shows the bright period of Buddhist culture of ancient China. Densely scattered along the cliffs on both banks of Yi River, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Longmen Grottoes contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907). You’ll appreciate the Chinese Buddhist art by visiting the major caves (Fengxian Temple, Guyang Cave, Three Bingyang Caves etc.) with notable displays of Buddhist sculptures and calligraphic inscriptions.

The temple was originally built in the Han Dynasty and it is acknowledged as the earliest Buddhist temple built in central China. Established by the Emperor Mingdi in 68AD the temple enjoys the fame No.1 Ancient Buddhist Temple in China.
