Day 2: Terracotta Warriors–Shaanxi History Museum–Big Wild Goose Pagoda. O/N Xi’an.

As the former capital of China, Xi’an was the seat of the Chinese Emperor for more than 10 dynasties over a period of 1,000 years. On this full-day, 8-hour private tour you will visit one of the highlights of Xi’an, the thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors in the superb mausoleum museum.
Visiting the Terracotta Warriors and Horses is a highlight of any Xi’an tour, and gives you the chance to see more than 8,000 life-size Qin Dynasty-era model soldiers. Discovered in 1974, the warriors are located to the east of Emperor Qin Shihuang’s Tomb, where the man who first unified China is buried.
Among the three pits, No. 1 pit is the largest, containing more than 6,000 clay warriors and horses in 11 three-meter deep corridors. Since their discovery, the warriors have captured the world’s imagination as they have traveled the globe, from England to America to Chile.
The warriors and horses are now back in China, displayed in an oblong battle formation of the Qin Dynasty. Facing east, they look healthy and determined, with different facial expressions that all reflect Emperor Qingshihuang’s determination to wipe out the other 6 states and unify the entire country.

After the lunch, we will Transfer to the Wild Goose Pagoda. As the symbol of the old-line Xi’an, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda (also called Big Wild Goose Pagoda) is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburb of Xi’an City, about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from the downtown of the city.

Day 3: Banpo village Museum–Hangyangling–City Wall–Muslim Quarter. O/N Xi’an.

In the morning, Our driver and tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 08:30am then transfer to Banpo village museum, need 40 minutes driving, 15km.

First, we will visit the Banpo village museum.This is the largest and best-preserved Neolithic Yangshao cultural village sites in China; you can see the China’s first neolithic site museum; National key cultural relics protection units and has has 3 parts: Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall, the hall of the Banpo Sites and Auxiliary Exhibition Hall.

Stop At: Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling), Zhanjiawan Village, Xi’an China
Next, go to Hanyangling Mausoleum.It’s the shared Mausoleum by Jingdi, the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, and his empress Wang. But they have seperate graves inside. You will admire the terracotta figurines carved as servants, riders, and domestic animals, and see the excavation pits which contain hordes of half-hidden statues and crockery through the glass floors.

After the lunch, we will Transfer to city wall.You can walking or cycling around the wall, the bike fees you pay locally if you do that.
The first landmark visitors will encounter in Xian is the ancient City Wall, which stretches round the old city. It is also one of the most famous attractions in Xian. Today, this wall represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

Finally we will Transfer to Muslim Quarter. Just as its name implies, the Muslim Quarter, also known as Huimin Jie in Pingyin, is the hub of the Muslim community in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province. Located to the north of the West Street in the city center, the quarter covers several blocks inhabitated by over 20,000 Muslims. There are about ten mosques in the area of the Muslim Street, among which the Great Mosque in the Huajue Lane is the most famous and popular.
