What to Expect When Visiting Xianyang, Shaanxi, China

Day 1: Xi’an
Pass By: Xi’an, Xi’an, Shaanxi
Arrive Xi’an and then transfer to the start point of the Silk Road — Xi’an city, stay in Xi’an ancient city hotel.

Day 2: Xi’an – Luoyang
Stop At: Longmen Grottoes, Banks of Yihe River, Luolong District, Luoyang 471000 China
In the morning, we will drive to the high-speed railway station and take the high-speed railway to Luoyang (2 hours and 30 minutes). After lunch, visit Longmen Grottoes, one of the three oldest Grottoes in China. After that, return to the hotel for a rest.

Day 3: Luoyang

After breakfast, we first visited Luoyang national peony garden. The architecture in the park inherits the charm of Sui Xiyuan and Tang Shendu garden. The four seasons here are like spring. We can enjoy the natural beauty of peony at any time. After that, visit Luoyang city’s the largest comprehensive park – Wangcheng park. The park is composed of ancient cultural area, peony garden, animal museum and other parts. It has profound traditional artistic conception and rich modern flavor. During the annual Peony Fair, Wangcheng park is the best place to enjoy flowers in the ancient city. After lunch, we will go to the ancient ruins of Sui and Tang Dynasties in Luonan, which is the largest peony special ornamental garden in China – China national garden. The garden is based on the history and culture of Sui and Tang Dynasties, with the peony culture as the main content, integrating the history and culture, the peony culture and the garden landscape, fully displaying the beauty, the purity and the seclusion of the peony. More than 1000 varieties of peony are planted in the garden, which is the largest area of peony garden in full bloom that can be seen in Luoyang in the early days. After that, enjoy a sumptuous dinner and stay in the hotel.

Day 4: Luoyang
Stop At: Shenzhou Peony Park Luoyang Peony Fair, No.3 Luobai Road Shenzhou Peony Park, Luoyang China
After breakfast, go to Shenzhou peony garden, which is located opposite Baima temple. It has a strong cultural atmosphere and many Tang style buildings. There are hundreds of millions of years of natural formation of the world’s rare Peony stone, there are more than 300 years old peony king, the world’s longest 100 meters national essence corridor – the Tang Sancai peony mural and the world’s largest Ouyang Xiu white marble statue. After that, we drive to Luoyang peony garden, the largest peony garden in Luoyang during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. After dinner, take the high-speed rail back to Xi’an Hotel.

The fresh day should be opened from a bowl of mutton steamed bun. Then we will have a Xi’an city tour today, visit Xi’an city wall.

Then we are going to visit the eighth wonder of the world – Terracotta Army. It is a large burial pit in the cemetery of the first emperor of Qin. It is based on Terracotta Army which are divided into generals, warriors, terracotta warriors and so on. Every pottery figurine is different in their five senses. Although the bronze weapons in the terracotta pits have gone through more than 2000 years, they are still sharp, reflecting the superb metallurgical technology of that time.
