Day 1: Xining-Qinghai Lake
Stop At: Lake Kokonor, 151km From the 109 National Rd Qingzang Highway, Xining China
Your driver will pick you up from your Xining hotel’s lobby, traveling by air-conditioned vehicle with your driver, sit back enjoy the scenery and relax on the way. Your driver will be sure to give you different rest stop to stretch your legs or purchase a snack or food at your own expense. You will arrive Qinghai lake in 2.5 hours, you will stop at different point to explore and take photos. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your hotel near Chaka Lake.

Day 2: Chaka Salt Lake to Zhangye
Stop At: Chaka Salt Lake, Haixi, Chaka Town, Ulan County 817101 China
Your driver will pick you up in your hotel’s lobby, you can enjoy sunrise at Chaka Salt Lake. Afterwards, spend few hours to explore the Chaka Salt Lake.Chaka Salt Lake is rated by Chinese National Geography as one of the 55 must-visit places in your lifetime.This natural crystallized saline lake is regarded as the eastern gateway to Qaidam Basin, which reserves the largest salt mine in the world. There are many giant sculptures scattered along the lakeside upon entering the scenic area.

Pass By: Qilian Mountain, Haibei, Within Qilian County, Qilian County 810400 China
Then driving via Qilian Mountain heading to Zhangye. The Qilian Mountain forming the border between the Qinghai and the Gansu province. The mountain is at an altitude between 4,000 and 5,000 meters above sea level in average. Formed a long and wide glacier landscape which is magnificent spectacle. The grassland near Qilian Mountain is full of horses, cattle and sheep.

Day 3: Zhangye-Jiayuguan
Stop At: Zhangye Danxia Geopark, 30km South of the County, Linze County 734200 China
Meet your driver ,then heading to Zhangye Danxia Geopark. The Danxia Geopark was developed about 200 million years ago , it was mainly constituted by red gravel, sandstone and mudstone, with the imprint of a clear arid, semi-arid climate. Known for its colorful rock formations, it has been voted by Chinese media outlets as one of the most beautiful landforms in China. Spend some leisure time to stop at different platforms, enjoy amazing view of the nature and take many photo.
Zhangye city also have some attractions such as Dafo Temple, in the later afternoon you will heading to Jiayuguan.

Day 4: Jiayuguan- Dunhuang
Stop At: Jiayuguan Fortress, Within Yuquan Town, Yuquan Town, Jiayuguan 735100 China
Meet your driver in the lobby of your hotel, Start your exploration with a visit to Jiayuguan Fortress, which is considered as “the Impregnable Pass under Heaven”. It is the most magnificent and best-preserved pass among one thousand passes along the Great Wall of China. It was located at a traffic fort along the Silk Road which is the world’s oldest trading route, connecting China, Central Asia and Europe.

Stop At: Xuanbi Great Wall, V53F+FVG, Jiayuguan City, Gansu, China
Next, explore Xuanbi Great Wall in the afternoon. As the northern extension of Jiayuguan Fortress, it is an important part of ancient military defense system. First built in 1539, it was made of gravels and loess on the spot.
