1-Day Zhangjiajie Avatar World Nature Hiking Private Tour

Visit highlights of Zhangjiajie National Park including Hiking throughout Tianzi Mountain, Avatar mountain,Yangjiajie,Yuanjiajie and Golden Whip Stream with this private day tour.You will be picked up and dropped off from your Zhangjiajie or Wulingyuan hotel.

During this hiking tour, we can avoid the cable car and Bailong lift queue line since we will hiking up and down of the hill.

After breakfast at your hotel, Our driver and tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00am then transfer to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

First, our guide will purchase the main entrance ticket then take the local shuttle bus to Xiangfangzhan station which is the way hiking up to Tianzi mountain.

After the 1.5hrs hiking, we will reach the Tianzi mountain which is Tianzi means “Heavenly Prince”. actually, he is the real person who leads the local minority to fight with the government army in Ming Dynasty 500 years ago…Mt. Tianzi Area is the very old battle field. Most of the scenic spots there are combined with historical stories and legends of this honorable man. Besides these, Visually, on the Tianzi mountain top, we can experience the most spectacular view of sandstone peak forest in the park featured by its sharp and slim shape. it’s one of the highlights in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.

After theTianzi mountain, we will take the shuttle bus to Tianbofu area. The Yangjiajie used to be the military base for the local bandits in old times, it’s a pretty wild area for nature-lovers, there is a narrow and fun bandit path leading to the top of Yangjiajie, called Wulong Village, which requires 1.5 hours to go forward&back. there are some spots on the path which are quite narrow, Big-sized guys may not make through. We can view a nature Great Wall formed by the sandstone when reach the top of Yangjiajie at Tianbofu platform, where also is the best spot to enjoy the sunset.(Notice: There are more and more tourists in Yangjiajie for sightseeing due to Yangjiajie Cablecar has been opened.)

And then Transfer to Yuanjiajie which is the main background of the very Movie: Avatar, located with hundreds of original pieces of “Floating Avatar Mountains”.(The major one is called:”Hallelujah Mountain.” the view there is really impressive like outer-space. No wonder, it’s rated as the most famous highlighted area in the park. The pillars here are bigger-sized than other areas. Moreover, there is a World Highest Sightseeing Elevator (326m) to be experienced which saves us a lot of time for sightseeing more. The only problem for Yuanjiajie is it would be crowded in high tourism season. So just need to be aware of it.

After the Yuanjiajie, we will hiking down of the hill to Golden Whip Stream which is regarded as the 1 of the most beautiful Streams in China. It’s 6 km long with a well-paved flat walkway at the bottom of valley, which takes us about 2 hours for walking between the 2 ends. it is also where we can see the bottom view of the Avatar Mountain Scenery,very different from the top.On both sides of the walkway, there are hundreds of different-shaped sandstone peaks erecting by a lovely stream,attached with plenty of interesting legends and stories given from locals.the other interesting part is,if lucky, we can see wild monkeys which would bring more fun and make you feel closer to the mother nature.
