Day 1: Zhangjiajie. O/N Zhangjiajie.

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
On this full-day tour our guide will meet you at 9:00am of your hotel lobby in Zhangjiajie city central or Wulingyuan hotel then we visit different mountain areas such as Tianzi Mountian, where the world’s longest cable car ride carries you to the mountain’s peak, and the unique platform-shaped Yuanjiajie Mountain.

With magnificent mountain ranges, deep valleys, mysterious caves, lush vegetation, cascading waterfalls and mist-shrouded stone pillars, Hunan’s Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is a wonderland of natural beauty.

There are more than 500 species of wildlife and vegetation in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, including rare monkeys, gingko trees and thousands of colorful birds. The most notable geographic features of the park are its hundreds of towering sandstone pillars. Fans of Hollywood blockbusters will instantly recognize the stunning landscape as the inspiration for the scenery of Pandora in James Cameron’s hit movie Avatar.

The Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area boasts of natural beauty where mountains, valleys, forests, caves, lakes and waterfalls exist in total harmony. Over 560 attraction sights can be found here. The strangely-shaped peaks, the absurd stones, the hidden valleys, the wonderful waters and the limestone caves form the ‘Five Wonders’ of Wulingyuan and they are really worth seeing.

Covering an area of 690 square kilometers (266 square miles), Wulingyuan Scenic Area consists of four parts- Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve and the newly added Yangjiajie Scenic Area.

Today our tour will visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve area.

When we purchase the main park entrance tickets and we will take a shuttle bus(20 mins driving) to the Tianzi mountain cable station and need to walk up the 200 steps to reach the station.

Stop At: Tianzi Mountain Clouds, Tianzishan Town, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427403 China
After the 20 mins cable car ride, we will reach the top of the Tianzi mountain then we will take a shuttle bus again(5 mins driving) to the Tianzi Mountain central area which is provides stunning views of peaks, which rise one after another. It is known as ‘the Monarch of the Peak Forest’. At the top of the mountain, visitors can see the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Beautiful scenes of the mountain greet visitors in different seasons. There are four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.

Stop At: BaiLong Elevator, National Forest Park, Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie China
After the Yuanjiajie(Avatar mountain), we will take a shuttle(15 mins driving) head to the Bailong Elevator.
Bailong Elevator is very magnificent. The total height of it is 335 meters (1099 feet), of which the running height is 326 meters (1069 feet). 154 meters (505 feet) of the total height is in the mountain wells and the rest of 172 meters (564 feet) was composed of steel derrick and other components. The Elevator includes three exposure sightseeing elevators running parallelly. Each elevator can take 50 passengers every time and the speed is 3 m / s (the speed has been accelerated to 5m / s since 2013). If the three elevators run simultaneously, the amount of one-way passengers will reach 4,000 per hour.

Stop At: Golden Whip Brook, In Wulingyuan District, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
We will hiking around one hour along the Golden Whip Stream then take a shuttle go out of the park and back to the hotel.
Golden Whip Stream (Jinbian Stream) is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable “paradise” for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. And it is also a kingdom of animals. Golden Whip Stream is named after Golden Whip Crag, its landmark spot, and runs from Laomo Bay to Shui Rao Si Men(water-surrounded gates).

Stop At: Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, Zhangjiajie China
After the lunch, we will Transfer to Glass Bridge.Your local expert guide will take you to start the adventure trip in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, which is famous with explorers and lovers of nature from home and abroad, by featuring typical Zhangjiajie land form, breathtaking cliffs, lush forests, ancient caves, colorful ponds, and a river running through the canyon.
Walk on the world’s longest and highest Glass Bridge in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Hanging over a valley, the glass bridge provides a superb panorama of the entire grand canyon. Enjoy a scenic walk boasting waterfalls and wonderful views on each side. Standing on it is like floating in the air.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie–Fenghuang. O/N Fenghuang.

At 9:00am, our tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer to the Zhangjiajie Tianmen park.

Stop At: Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain Ticket Station, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
Today we will spend 3-4hrs at Tianmen Mountain Park. We will using the cale car or shuttle bus go up of the hill, but it depends of the traffic.
Tianmen Mountain, appears as the ”New Legend Of Zhangjiajie “. It’s the highest spot (1500m) in Zhangjiajie,where you can walk on super-exciting cliff-path and glass walkway and see the whole city and beautiful countryside with bird’s view. and the landscape there is totally different from, meanwhile, at the same level as the ZJJ national Park. Both are world-class scenery, so it’s a must-visit highlight of this city you should not miss. What is more Unbelievable? this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records in its small body. and any of them will be overwhelmingly impressive to any type of human being. Just an amazing experience you have never had before.

After the lunch, your guide will escort you to Fenghuang, need 3hrs driving, 220km. The Fenghuang(Phoenix) Town, built in 1704, was granted as a famous national cultural and historical city. The blue flagstone streets, stilted houses, and customs of the Miao nationality all make up its unique charm. For the rest of day, you can wander around the ancient town freely.

Day 3: Fenghuang–Zhangjiajie–Beijing. O/N Beijing.

Stop At: Phoenix Ancient Town, Tuojiang Town, Fenghuang County 416200 China
Today we will have a full exploration of the Fenghuang Ancient Town. After breakfast, we will take a boat along Tuojiang River, the mother river of the town. The clean river flows slowly along the city walls and you can see water plants swaying in the gentle waves. In addition, the mist sometimes rises from the quiet green water, making it a fairyland. Then you will be guided to Wanming Pagoda on the north bank of the river. The hexagonal pagoda of around 21 meters (69 feet) high has seven layers. There are copper wind bells hanging at each corner of the eaves. Colored paintings and sculptures are also decorated on the body of the pagoda.

After enjoying the elegant pagoda, we will cruise down to the Rainbow Bridge. Looking out of the window on its second floor, you can have a good view of the green hills, blue water, city walls, red slates, and stilted houses. Besides, you can also see several boats moving quietly through the river.

Stop At: Tuojiang Rock, Tuojiang River, Outside the North Gate, Fenghuang County 416200 China
We will conclude our private Fenghuang tour with Tiaotiao Rock, one of the landmarks of the town. The total length of the rock is about 100 meters (110 yards) with 15 stone piers crossing the Tuojiang River. Standing in the middle of the Tiaotiao Rock, you can definitely take nice shots of the stilted buildings and Rainbow Bridge.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
Firstly, we will visit the Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, and Gu Gong in Chinese, lies at the city center of Beijing, and once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 – 1911). It was first built throughout 14 years during the reign of Emperor Chengzu in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Ancient Chinese Astronomers believed that the Purple Star (Polaris) was in the center of heaven and the Heavenly Emperor lived in the Purple Palace. The Palace for the emperor on earth was so called the Purple City. It was forbidden to enter without special permission of the emperor. Hence its name ‘The Purple Forbidden City’, usually ‘The Forbidden City’.

Next, go to Jingshan Park which is a beautiful royal landscape garden. Covering an area of 57 acres (about 230,000 square meters), the park stands on the central point of the south-north axis of the city and faces the north gate of the Forbidden City. It is found on Jingshan Hill, which was originally named Wansui Hill (Long Live Hill), Zhen Hill or Meishan Hill (Coal Hill). The mid summit of the hill is the highest point in Beijing. Looking from the peak, you will able to get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.

And then, we will head to Tiananmen Square is the large plaza near the centre of Beijing named after the Tiananmen (literally translated as the “Gate of Heavenly Peace”). It sits to the city’s north, separating it from the Forbidden City. As a symbol it has great cultural significance, as it was the site of several key events in Chinese history.

After the lunch, we will visit The Temple of Heaven, literally the Altar of Heaven, is a complex of Taoist buildings situated in south-eastern urban Beijing, known as the Xuanwu District. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. It is regarded as a Taoist temple, although the Chinese Heaven worship by the reigning monarch “ohe day” pre-dates Taoism. The Temple of Heaven is a must-see attraction in Beijing!

Located at the foot of Mount Yan, the surrounding area is extremely beautiful.
