Itinerary
Day 1: Longmen Grottoes–White Horse Temple
Stop At: Longmen Grottoes, Banks of Yihe River, Luolong District, Luoyang 471000 China
Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Zhengzhou and head to Luoyang (about 2 hours driving time). You will first visit Longmen Grottoes, which is located on both-sides of the Yi River to the south of the ancient capital of Luoyang, Henan province. The magnificent carvings ranks first among China’s grottoes, comprising more than 2,300 caves and niches carved into the steep limestone cliffs over a 1km long stretch.

Stop At: White Horse Temple, Baima Si Lu, Luoyang 471013 China
After enjoy a local lunch, continue to White Horse Temple, the birthplace of Buddhism in China, having been first established in 68 AD under the patronage of Emperor Ming in the Eastern Han dynasty.The site also includes exquisite examples of Thai, Burmese and Indian temples.
After the tour is finished, you will be dropped off in your Luoyang hotel (at your own arrangement) or Luoyang Ancient Cultural Street.

Day 2: Shaolin Temple–Pagoda Forest of Shaolin Temple–Shailin Martial Arts Hall-Zhengzhou
Stop At: Monastero Shaolin (Shaolin Temple), Songshan Mountain, Dengfeng 450000 China
Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel lobby in Luoyang and drive about 1.5 hours to Shaolin Temple, which is located in Dengfeng County, Henan province. It was originally built in 495 in the Northern Wei Dynasty (368-534), reputed to be ‘the Number One Temple under Heaven’. Accompanied by your tour guide, you will first visit Shanmen Hall, Hall of Heavenly Kings and Thousand-Buddha Hall.

Stop At: Pagoda Forest of Shaolin Temple, West of Shaolin Temple, Dengfeng 450000 China
Followed by the Pagoda Forest at Shaolin Temple, the most interesting part of the whole complex. It refers to the 228 stone or brick pagodas built from 791 AD during the Tang Dynasty through the Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, and Qing Dynasty.

Stop At: Shailin Martial Arts Hall, East of Shaolin Temple, Dengfeng 450000 China
Then accompanied by your guide, you can enjoy a 30-minute real Kungfu performance performed by Shaolin monks.
After that, you can choose to have a vegetarian lunch in the temple or enjoy a local lunch outside.
Your tour conclude with your Zhengzhou hotel drop-off.
